Prowl & Music
Characters: Prowl, Sari
Summary; Prowl learns about a style of Earth music.
(J-pop K-pop because that is what one of my friends listens to and I could steal from her music collection. )

The Autobot base was normally filled with the sound of mechs arguing, fighting, talking, and playing, but today something new floated through the base.
“I want nobody nobody but you.” *clap clap* “I want nobody nobody but you.” *clap clap*... Prowl frowned and paused outside Sari’s room, cocking his head as he listened. Knocking gently, he waited for Sari to open the door. “Sari? What is that sound?”
Sari frowned, a bit confused, worried that she was about to get in trouble for playing the music so loud, “K-pop; the song is called 'Nobody'. I’ll turn it down if it is bothering you guys.”
Prowl stepped into the room, “I am actually the only one on base at the moment.” He sat down gracefully in front of the screen watching the video skeptically. “Fascinating. So what are they doing?”
Sari made a displeased sound at the intrusion, but Prowl was much more respectful at least, than say Bumblebee (who would have messed up her bed and would already be changing the channel) so she shook it off, walking over to finish folding her laundry. “It is a music video; they are singing dancing their music.”
“And does this always involve provocative outfits and sexual innuendo?” Prowl's optics were wide and skeptical--sometimes Sari wondered if the Ninja-bot was really as old as the others claimed.
Sari laughed, “You should see some of the other videos that are out there by other artists. Trust me, there is worse stuff out there. I like the song though, and if the music is good, who cares about the video?”
“And this is the kind of music you like?” He tilted his head--it was certainly interesting, and very different from the music he was used to back on Cybertron, which was all tones and pitches with very few words.
Sari shrugged, relaxing a bit now since Prowl didn’t seem to be judging her. Then again, this was Prowl; since when had he judged her about something like this? “Yeah, I like other types of music too, but K-pop is really fun, even if I don’t always understand what they are saying.”
Prowl tilted his head, “Are there more songs like this one?”
Sari suddenly grinned mischievously, “Lots.”

When the others returned to base, and unusual rhythem led them to the rec. room.
“...Lolli Lolli Lollipop Oh neon naui Lollipop
Lolli Lolli Lollipop Oh Lolli-Pop-Pop
Lolli Lolli Lollipop Boy neon naui Lollipop
Lolli Lolli Lollipop Oh Lolli-Pop-Pop...”Ratchet closed Bumblebee’s jaw as they walked into the rec room to see Prowl dancing, and Sari shaking her head and laughing.
Suddenly noticing the others' presence, Prowl froze and his face-plates heated.
Bumblebee laughed out loud, falling to the floor with a clang.
Prowl growled, and threw a shuriken striking the yellow mech across the head. He left with a glare, daring the others to say anything.
Sari glared at the others as well, upset that they had ruined their fun.

In order to keep the peace within the base, the others decided it would be best (with some prompting and threats from Ratchet and Optimus) to not bring the incident up with the ninja-bot.
So, soon the entire thing was forgotten, and if anyone entering Prowl’s room noticed the growing CD collection in the corner, or the new files being placed on the base’s computer, they wisely decided not to say anything.
